COUNCIL 146

FOXROCK, DUBLIN

The Council meets in Ely House on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 8 pm. The meeting is preceded by Mass at 7.30 in the oratory.

In 2005 the Council undertook the following activities:

Organised parish retreats and mission.

Established a No Pornography campaign

First Friday Adoration and all night Vigil in Stillorgan

Twinned with a Council in the North

Supported the John Paul 11 Institute of Catholic Faith and Marriage

Charitable support of Our Lady's School of Evangelisation.

Projects for 2006 include:

Closer liason with the twinned council

Continuing support of 2005 projects

Guest speakers to speak of Catholic Principles relevant to the third millenium
