Trinity’s essay was also highly commended in the 2021 Knights of St. Columbanus All-Ireland Post-Primary Senior Cycle Essay Competition.

Galway, joint winner of second prize in the Elphin Diocese’s Senior Cycle Essay Competition 2021 sponsored by Sligo Council of the Knights of St. Columbanus.  Gerard is accompanied in the photograph by Elphin diocesan representative and priest serving Caltra, Ballinasloe, Fr.
