St Patrick's Day Dawn Prayers and scripture

Four years ago in Downpatrick at Saint Patrick's Grave a group of Christians began the tradition of praying 100 Our Fathers interspersed with Scripture, hymns and readings from Saint Patrick's Breastplate. Last year our Saint Patrick's Dawn Prayer Gathering caught the attention of EWTN and was featured on theirs. Patrick's night news show. CNA and other newspaper outlets also picked up the story. This year we have promoted the simple idea and straight forward prayer format further afield and it is spreading. Other places from Slane to Cork to Surrey are taking up the call to 'Arise' like St. Patrick to pray 'one hundred times before dawn'. We are offering our early rise and prayers for unity and peace in Christ among our peoples and throughout the world.
