About the event
What is ‘Camp Veritas‘?
Founded by Ryan and Elizabeth Young, Camp Veritas is a not-for-profit organisation that runs five residential Catholic, faith and fun camps every year. Four of the camps are based in the USA, and the fifth at Clongowes Wood College. The Clongowes camp serves c. 200 young people between the ages of 12 and 17 years, supported by up to 100 volunteers. The recipe is ‘play and pray’. While parenting their own children Elizabeth and Ryan recognised the need for a fun-filled Catholic summer camp for teens. The primary focus is on Eucharistic-centred worship and evangelisation that is ageappropriate, meaningful and enjoyable.
